Veneers

Zoom Whitening

If you're looking for a fast way to dramatically whiten your teeth, Zoom! In-Office Whitening System may be the answer for you.

In a little over an hour, this safe and effective system can give you the instant results you've been wanting. A specially designed light activates the Zoom! Whitening Gel to gently break down stains on your teeth to put the sparkle back in your smile!

Zoom! Whitening is very safe while under the supervision of a trained dentist. It is one of the safest procedures in cosmetic dentistry. However, we do not recommend this procedure for pregnant women or children under age 13.
You will be given some post-whitening care instructions after your procedure. It is important to maintain a good oral hygiene regimen post-whitening to preserve your bright, white smile. We also recommend occasional touch-ups with the Zoom!Take-Home Gel. Your smile will be brighter than it was before the procedure, but by following these simple instructions, you can retain your results for a long time!

Although the Zoom! System can help almost anyone, it may not be as effective in every case. We can determine if tooth whitening is a possible option for your case.

Smile Designs

“Smile design” is the process of determining how to achieve your asthetic goals with regard to your smile. As with an architect, it is the formulation of a blueprint by which we achieve success. As cosmetic dentists, we understand that communication with you about what you expect, what you want your teeth to look like, is critical to success. Cosmetic dentistry is a self-esteem service. As such, if the result is not pleasing to you, the treatment is a failure. In order for you to be happy with the result, you need to have strong input into the artistic planning of your smile. To help you accomplish that, we perform a smile design consultation.

Factors that influence the smile design are:

• Your facial shape. For example, a long face may need to accentuate width to appear more oval. Someone with attractive features in the center of the face may need bold central incisors to draw attention to that center.
• Your image aspirations. How do you want to appear to others? A sophisticated smile gives the appearance of more intelligence, maturity and judgment. A sexy smile gives the appearance of more warmth, energy and boldness.
• Your age, or how old you want to appear. Longer central incisors make you appear younger. Also, whiter teeth make you appear younger. Conversely, a flatter smile or a more subdued color to the teeth make you appear more mature.

With your smile design consultation, we will go over all of these factors. Smile design treatment plans may include everything from whitening, veneers and crowns or Invisalign, bonding and implants . We will use any or all of the necessary tools in our repertoire to accomplish the goal of a beautiful smile. We may have you pick a smile from a book of photographs of smiles. We may disagree with your pick and will tell you, but the final decision is still yours. Ultimately, you have to be the one who is happy with your smile!

Invisalign®

Invisalign is the clear way to straighten teeth without braces, using aligners. Aligners are removable and virtually invisible, which means you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing; and you can still eat and drink what you want. Also, you can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth; and there are no wires, metal or brackets to cause mouth abrasions.

Many of our patients had never considered traditional braces but are now happily and comfortably improving their smiles with Invisalign.

• Wear each set of Aligners for about two weeks.
• Remove only to eat, drink, brush and floss.
